TRPM2 is a member of the melastatin-related TRPM subfamily belonging to the transient receptor potential or TRP channel superfamily.
TRPM2 can form a Ca2+-permeable cationic channel activated by intracellular ADP-ribose.
The physiological functions of TRPM2 remain largely unknown except that activation of TRPM2 channel can initiate yet unidentified signalling cascades that lead to membrane disruption and eventually cell death.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
