This NPY Y2 antibody has been extensively characterized at the spinal level and is currently being characerized in brain.
The antibody has been tested in both rat and mouse and appears to work better on mose tissue, although positive staining is seen in rat.

Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:300 (To improve staining intensity, it may be necessary to employ HRP-DAB detection or enhance fluorescence signal using Tyramide Signal Amplification procedure.)Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
