S100A1 has been suggested to be a regulator of myocardial contractility.
S100A1 improves cardiac contractile performance both by regulating sarcoplasmic reticulum calcium ion handling and myofibrillar calcium ion responsiveness.
S100 is an astrocyte marker.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
