SLITEK6 is a member of the SLITRK (SLIT-and NTRK-like Famliy) family of proteins.
These proteins are primarily expressed in brain and control neurite outgrowth.
SLITEK6 is an integral membrane protein with 2 N-terminal leucine-rich repeats (LRR) domains and a C-terminal domain that shares homology with neurotrophin receptors.
SLITRK6 is highly expressed in thalamus and putamen and unlike other family members also in lung and medulloblastomas.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 15ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
