Brachyury is a 435aa containing embryonic nuclear transcription factor binding to the palindromic T-site.
It binds to the T-box in the N-terminus to regulate the genes required for mesodermal differentiation.
It is the earliest indicator of mesoderm formation and differentiation.
Brachyury is expressed during gastrula and neurula stages in involuting mesoderm and in the notochord.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
