SEPT7, otherwise known as septin-7, is a cytoskeletal GTPase and member of the septin family, essential for the formation of filaments, in conjunction with SEPT2 and SEPT6.
SEPT7 plays an important role during mitosis progression/cytokinesis, in the correct organization of the actin cytoskeleton, and in the association of centrosome-associated protein E (CENPE) with kinetochore.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
