CD200 R1, also known as OX2 receptor, is one of four known members of the mouse CD200 R family.
CD200 receptors belong to the immunoglobulin superfamily.
Mouse CD200 R1 is a type I transmembrane protein with a cytoplasmic region that contains a PTB-signaling motif.
Engagement of CD200 and CD200 R1 has been shown to elicit an inhibitory signal.
The extracellular domain of mouse CD200 R1 shares 43% and 72% aa sequence homology with the corresponding regions of human and rat CD200 R1, respectively.
