Ovalbumin (abbreviated OVA) is the main protein found in egg white, making up 60-65% of the total protein.
Ovalbumin displays sequence and three-dimensional homology to the serpin superfamily.
The function of ovalbumin is unknown, although it is presumed to be a storage protein or carrier protein.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:1000-1:5000Western Blot: 1:500-1:2500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
