Repetin is a late epidermal differentiation marker.
Repetin is involved in the formation of the cornified cell envelope.
It is a multifunctional epidermal matrix protein, which reversibly binds to calcium.
Its expression is scattered in the normal epidermis but strong in the acrosyringium, the inner hair root sheat and in the filiform papilli of the tongue.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections): 1:250-1:500Western Blot: 1:2500-1:5000Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
