- RANKL is an osteoclast differentiation and activation factor.
- Augments the ability of dendritic cells to stimulate naive T-cell proliferation.
- Important regulator of interactions between T-cells and dendritic cells and may play a role in the regulation of the T-cell-dependent immune response.
- Plays an important role in enhanced bone-resorption in humoral hypercalcemia of malignancy.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry and Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:ELISA (direct and indirect): 1:2000-1:10,000Flow Cytometry: 1:500-1:1000Western Blot: 1:2000-1:5000 using ECL.
- Suggested blocking and dilution buffer is TBST with 0.05% Tween 20 with 5% skim milk.
- Suggested incubation time is 1 hour at room temperatureOptimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
