CTRP1 (Complement C1q tumor necrosis factor-related protein 1; C1QTNF1) belongs to a highly conserved family of adiponectin paralogs.
Serum levels of CTRP1 are significantly higher in obese/diabetic animal models and in hypertensive patients compared to normal controls.
CTRP1 may be a new molecular link between obesity and hypertension.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:ELISA (Direct or Indirect): 1:2000-1:5000Immunohistochemistry: 15ug/mlWestern Blot: 1:2000-1:5000 using ECL; suggested blocking and dilution buffer is PBST containing 0.05% Tween 20 and 5% skim milk; suggested incubation time is 1 hour at room temperatureImmunoprecipitation: 1:500-1:2000Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
