The GUSB gene encodes beta-glucuronidase (EC 3.2.1.31), a lysosomal hydrolase involved in the stepwise degradation of glucuronic acid-containing glycosaminoglycans (Shipley et al., 1993 [PubMed 7680524]).
It is a tetrameric glycoprotein composed of identical subunits (Oshima et al., 1987 [PubMed 3468507]).
The GUSB gene is mutated in mucopolysaccharidosis type VII (MPS7; MIM 253220).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Indirect Flow Cytometry.
Heat induced antigen retrieval with EDTA Buffer, pH 9.0 is recommended
Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
