CALCR is a high affinity receptor for the peptide hormone calcitonin and belongs to a subfamily of seven transmembrane-spanning G protein-coupled receptors.
The encoded protein is involved in maintaining calcium homeostasis and in regulating osteoclast-mediated bone resorption.
Polymorphisms in this gene have been associated with variations in bone mineral density and onset of osteoporosis.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, Indirect Flow Cytometry and ELISA.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000Immunofluorescence: 1:10-1:50Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
