Irak1 binds to the IL-1 type I receptor following IL-1 engagement, triggering intracellular signaling cascades leading to transcriptional up-regulation and mRNA stabilization.
The kinase activity of this enzyme may not be required for IL-1 signaling.
Once phosphorylated, IRAK1 recruits the adapter protein PELI1.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Indirect Flow Cytometry and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1:1000Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
