特徴
- V5 is used to detect recombinant proteins, some of which include transmembrane and secreted proteins, which have been tagged with this epitope.
- The V5 epitope tag is derived from an epitope present on the P and V proteins of the paramyxovirus of simian virus 5 (SV5).
- Usually the V5 tag is used with all 14aa (GKPIPNPLLGLDST), although it has also been used with a shorter 9aa sequence (IPNPLLGLD).
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
- Other applications have not been tested.

- Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
