PFDN1 is a heterohexameric chaperone protein which assists in the correct folding of other proteins.
It binds specifically to cytosolic chaperonin and transfers target proteins.
PFDN1 may function by selectively targeting nascent actin and tubulin chains pending their transfer to cytosolic chaperonin for final folding and/or assembly.
It promotes folding in an environment in which there are many competing pathways for non native proteins.
Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
