特徴
- Plays a key role in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis.
- In addition, may also function as scaffolding protein.
- Defects in ALDOA are the cause of glycogen storage disease type 12 (GSD12) [MIM:611881]; also known as red cell aldolase deficiency.
- A metabolic disorder associated with increased hepatic glycogen and hemolytic anemia.
- It may lead to myopathy with exercise intolerance and rhabdomyolysis.
- Belongs to the class I fructose-bisphosphate aldolase family.
- Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
- FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
