SFRP1 encodes a member of the SFRP family that contains a cysteine-rich domain homologous to the putative Wnt-binding site of Frizzled proteins.
Members of this family act as soluble modulators of Wnt signaling; epigenetic silencing of SFRP genes leads to deregulated activation of the Wnt-pathway which is associated with cancer.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:1000Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 3-6ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
