NgR, also named reticulon 4 receptor, is a glycosylphosphoinositol (GPI)-anchored protein that belongs to the family of leucine-rich repeat proteins.
NgR plays an essential role in mediating axon growth inhibition induced by the myelin-derived proteins Nogo, myelinassociated glycoprotein (MAG), and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (Omgp).
Upon ligand binding, NgR associates with and activates the p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR), a tumor necrosis factor superfamily member (TNFRSF16).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
