Catalyzes reversibly the conversion of 7-ketocholesterol to 7-beta-hydroxycholesterol.
In intact cells, the reaction runs only in one direction, from 7-ketocholesterol to 7-beta-hydroxycholesterol.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Peptide ELISA: 1:8000Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml, observed in human liver lysates on ~35kD bandsOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
