特徴
- Seems to act as a signaling molecule involved in the maintenance of iron homeostasis.
- Seems to be required in conjunction with HFE to regulate both intestinal iron absorption and iron storage in macrophages.
- Has strong antimicrobial activity against E.coli ML35P N.cinerea and weaker against S.epidermidis, S.aureus and group b streptococcus bacteria.
- Active against the fungus C.albicans.
- No activity against P.aeruginosa.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:16,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
