DOPA decarboxylase (aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase AADC, DDC) catalyzes the second reaction in the biosynthesis of catecholamines and serotonin.
It is also involved in the biosynthesis of trace amines.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:8000Western Blot: 0.03-0.1ug/ml detects an ~50kD band in human Kidney lysates and ~48kD in human brain lysates

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after recipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
