Coronin 3 is a member of the WD repeat protein family.
WD repeats are minimally conserved regions of approximately 40aa typically bracketed by gly-his and trp-asp (GH-WD).
These may facilitate formation of heterotrimeric or multiprotein complexes.
Members of this family are involved in a variety of cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, signal transduction, apoptosis, and gene regulation.
By similarity, Coronin 3 may be involved in cytokinesis, motility, and signal transduction.
Coronin 3 is ubiquitously expressed in all human tissues, in contrast to other known coronin-like molecules, each of which is expressed in a tissue-specific manner.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:64,000Western Blot: 0.2-1ug/ml, observed in human lung and placenta lysates on ~55kD bandsOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
