This gene encodes a member of the H3/H4 family of histone chaperone proteins and is similar to the anti-silencing function-1 gene in yeast.
The protein is a key component of a histone donor complex that functions in nucleosome assembly.
It interacts with histones H3 and H4, and functions together with a chromatin assembly factor during DNA replication and repair.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:1000Western Blot: 0.01-0.03ug/ml, observed in lysates of cell line Jurkat on ~23kD bandsOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
