TRPC4 (or short transient receptor potential channel, TRP) contains 6 transmembrane domains, a pore region, a caveolin-binding domain and a PDZ binding domain at the C-terminus.
It is a non-selective calcium permeant cation channel probably regulated by phosphatidylinositol second messengers via GPCRs or tyrosine kinases or depletion of internal calcium stores.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
