NALP7 is a 980aa containing short NALP belonging to the NLRP family with aDPIN domain, nine LRR (leucine-rich) repeats and a NACHT domain.
NALP7 is usually induced by LPS and IL-1B in peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
A PYRIN-containing APAF-1-like protein, NALP7 directly interacts with CASP1 and IL-1B and acts as a feedback regulator of CASP1/caspase-1-dependent interleukin-1 beta secretion.
It may play a crucial role in cell proliferation.
Expressed in numerous tissues including uterus and ovary, with low levels in heart and brain but not detected in skeletal muscle.
Defects in NLRP7 are the cause of hydatidiform mole (HYDM), an abnormal human pregnancy with no embryo and cystic degeneration of placental villi.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1-2ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
