The ASS1 is an enzyme called argininosuccinate synthase 1.
This enzyme participates in the urea cycle, which is a sequence of chemical reactions that takes place in liver cells.
The urea cycle processes excess nitrogen that is generated as the body uses proteins.
The excess nitrogen is used to make a compound called urea, which is excreted from the body in urine.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:64,000Western Blot: 0.01-0.03ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 2.5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
