- SLC1A5 (Solute carrier family 1 member 5) is a member of the Na(+)-dependent amino acid transporter superfamily.
- It has a broad substrate specificity, a preference for zwitterionic amino acids and a dosium-dependence.
- It accepts as substrates all neutral amino acids, anionic amino acids and cationic amino acids.
- It acts as a cell surface receptor for feline endogenous virus RD114, baboon M7 endogenous virus and type D simian retroviruses.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1:50-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
