VAMP5, also known as vesicle-associated membrane protein 5, is a member of the synaptobrevin family and the SNARE superfamily.
VAMP5 is the main components of a protein complex involved in the docking and/or fusion of vesicles and cell membranes.
This protein may participate in a trafficking events that is associated with myogenesis, such as myoblast fusion and/or GLUT4 trafficking.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1ug/mlWestern Blot: 1ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
