SLC40A1 is a cell membrane protein that may be involved in iron export from duodenal epithelial cells.
Defects in this gene are a cause of hemochromatosis type 4 (HFE4).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
