LINGO-1 (Leucine-rich repeat- and Ig domain-containing nogo receptor-interacting protein 1) is a transmembrane protein of the leucine-rich repeat (LRR) family, ribonuclease inhibitor subfamily.
The four known LINGO proteins contain LRR and IgCAM domains in the extracellular portion and share 44-61aa identity.
LINGO-1 is restricted to the nervous system and is concentrated in the brain as a component of the NgR1/p75 and NgR1/Taj (Troy) signaling complexes.
LINGO-1 negatively regulates neurite outgrowth and myelination, and is highly conserved, showing 99aa identity between human, mouse and rat.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 20ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
