The Wnt family consists of ligands involved in cell fate determination, organogenesis, and oncogenesis.
The Wnt signal is thought to be transduced sequentially via a homolog of the frizzled family of receptors to GSK-3 (disheveled), beta- and gamma- catenin and finally to members of the Tcf/Lef-1 family of HMG box transcription factors.
Frizzled 5 is believed to function as the receptor for the Wnt5a ligand.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 7ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
