SLC29A1/ENT1 is a member of the equilibrative nucleoside transporter family.
It is widely distributed and has broad substrate specificity.
Expression levels in normal tissues vary within the population; in addition, some carcinomas show a decrease expression level of ENT1.
An essential component of the action of nucleoside analog drugs used in anticancer therapies is the uptake and movement of drugs across the plasma membrane.
ENT1 and other family members mediate this transport and hence expression levels are of interest in terms of treatment choices.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:50-1:100ELISA: 1:1000Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
