特徴
- Cathepsin D is an aspartyl protease expressed in all cells and has a role on the degradation of proteins in lysosomes.
- It is initially expressed as an inactive 52kD precursor and activated by proteolysis.
- This antibody detects both precursor and mature forms.
- It does not react with human cathepsins B, C, G and H and with bovine cathepsins D and B.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 10ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
