Properdin is a factor of the alternative complement activation pathway.
It has a molecularweight of 222000 and consists of four peptide chains.
Properdin is stabilizing the C3convertase C3bBb.
The mean concentration in plasma is 20mg/ml.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISa and Immunoelectrophoresis.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
