Beta-2 microglobulin is a member of the Immunoglobulin superfamily.
The amino acid sequence resembles that of immunoglobulin constant domains.
High levels of beta-2 microglobulin are as present in cord blood serum and fetal serum.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunoprecipitation, Immunoelectrophoresis and Double Radial Immunodiffusion.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Immunoelectrophoresis: 120ul antiserumagainst 2ul serum, plasma or equivalent Double Radial Immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony): Use a rosette arrangement with 10ul in a 3mm diameter center well and 2ul serum samples (neat and serially diluted) in 2mm diameter peripheral wells
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
仕様
Size:1ml
Host:rabbit
Source Antibody:human
Grade:Serum
Purity:Serum
Form:Supplied as a lyophilized powder. Reconstitute in 1ml sterile ddH2O. Dilute further in PBS, pH 7.2.
Specificity:Recognizes human beta-2 microglobulin. A single precipitin line is obtained with fetal serum, colostrum and selected pathological plasma and urine containing high levels of beta-2 microglobulin in bidimensional electrophoresis, immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony) which shows a reaction of full identity with the purified immunogen. Does not crossreact with any other human plasma proteins.

Immunogen:Highly purified beta-2 microglobulin isolated from urine of human patients with impaired readsorption in the kidney tubules
