Alpha-2 macroglobulin(clotting factor I) is the major protein in the alpha-2 region of humanserum after separation by immunoelectrophoresis.
The concentration in normal plasma is about2.5mg/ml.
It is a large polymer and a strong antigen.
It forms about one third in the total of thealpha-2 globulins.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunoelectrophoresis, Radial Immunodiffusion and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
Stable for 12 months at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.

仕様
Size:1ml
Host:goat
Source Antibody:human
Grade:Serum
Purity:Serum
Form:Supplied as a lyophilized powder. No preservatives added. Reconstitute with 1ml sterile ddH2O. Dilute further in PBS, pH 7.2.
Specificity:Recognizes human a2-Macroglobulin. In immunoelectrophoresis and radial immunodiffusion against normal human plasma a single precipitin line is obtained which shows a reaction of identity with the precipitin line obtained with purified alpha-2 macroglobulin. No reaction is obtained with any other plasma protein components or serum. Species Crossreactivity: bovine, feline, monkey, rabbit. Does not react with goat, mouse or rat.
