Albumin is a stable small polypeptide with a strong antigenicity.
Its molecular weight is about 69000.
It has a high mobility in electrophoresis, shows macro-heterogeneity especially under pathological conditions and it can bind a large number of physiological and non-physiological molecules.
Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA, Immunoelectrophoresis and Double Radial Immunodiffusion.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Fluorescein/IgG protein molar ratio (F/P): ~1.4.
Excitation: 492nm
Emission: 515nm
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
Stable for 12 months at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
仕様
Size:1ml
Host:goat
Source Antibody:rabbit
Grade:Highly Purified
Purity:Purified by DEAE chromatography.
Form:Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.2. No preservatives added. Labeled with Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). Reconstitute in 1ml sterile ddH2O. Dilute further in PBS, pH 7.2.
Specificity:Recognizes rabbit albumin serum. In immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony), against the immunogen, a single characteristic precipitin line is obtained which shows a reaction of identity with the precipitin lines obtained against rabbit serum and the purified albumin.
