Albumin is a stable small polypeptide with a strong antigenicity.
Its molecular weight is about 69000.
It has a high mobility in electrophoresis, shows macro-heterogeneity especially under pathological conditions and it can bind a large number of physiological and non-physiological molecules.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunoelectrophoresis, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:12000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Horseradish Peroxidase Enriched for isoenzyme C:RZ= 3.2
Enzyme/IgG Protein Molar Ratio (E/P): ~1.7
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months at -20°C after receipt.
Reconstitute with sterile dH2O prior to use.
To avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot reconstituted stock solution and store at -20°C.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap..
