- Regulatory associated protein of mTOR (RAPTOR) is a binding partner of target of rapamycin (TOR).
- It binds to 4EBP1 and p70alpha.
- The binding of raptor to mTOR is essential for the mTOR-catalyzed phosphorylation of 4EBP1 in vitro.
- It enhances the mTOR kinase activity toward p70alpha.
- It is also an essential scaffold for the mTOR-catalyzed phosphorylation of 4EBP1 and mediates TOR action in vivo.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Positive Control:Human 293 or mouse NIH 3T3 tumor cell line
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
