Developmental pluripotency associated 4 (DPPA4) protein is abundantly found in embryonic stem cells and in early embryos.
DPPA4 protein is localized in the embryonic stem cell nucleus associated with transcriptionally active chromatin.
The Dppa4 gene overexpression does not support embryonic stem cell self-renewal but partially inhibits embryonic stem cell differentiation.
Suppression of DPPA4 expression by short hairpin RNA induced embryonic stem cell into a primitive ectoderm lineage.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 2-4ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
