特徴

• ITGA11 is a 155-160kD member of the integrin a chain family of molecules.
• It preferentially forms a cell surface heterodimer with b1 integrin.
• In particular, it is further classified as a collagen-binding group member, showing a preference for binding to collagen I and II.
• ITGA11 is expressed by embryonic mesenchymal cells in and around areas that incorporate, or utilize collagen during development.
• In adult tissue, fibroblasts express ITGA11, and collagen:ITGA11 interaction likely contributes to wound contraction and closure.
• Mature human ITGA11 is an 1167aa type I transmembrane glycoprotein.
• It contains a large 1120aa extracellular domain (ECD) (aa 23-1142) plus a short 24aa cytoplasmic region.
• The ECD shows 7 x 60aa FG-Gap repeats that generate b propellers (aa 24-650) with an intervening I domain that binds collagen (aa154-345).
• Over aa23-1142, human ITGA11 shares 90% aa identity with mouse ITGA11.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Direct ELISA, Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Direct ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml.
