• Ghrelin, an orexigenic hormone secreted from the stomach, exists in the circulation in two isoforms: des-acyl and acyl ghrelin.
• Acylation by the enzyme ghrelin O-acyl-transferase (GOAT) enables ghrelin to activate the ghrelin receptor.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed paraffin): 1:500, 1hour at RT (DAB).
• Block using 3% H2O2, 2% normal goat serum.
• No pretreatment of section is required
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
