Serotonin plays important physiological functions at the intestinal level, the human intestinal epithelial Caco-2 cells functionally express SERT, both at their apical and basolateral cell membranes.
It is a 630aa residue in all human (chr 17q11), rat and mouse.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1-10ug/ml (Chemiluminescence)ELISA: 0.5-1ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
Stable for 12 months at -20°C.
