Water is a critical component of all living cells.
Interestingly, tissue membranes show a great degree of water permeability.
Mammalian red cells, renal proximal tubules, and descendingthin limb of Henle are extraordinarily permeable to water.
Water crosses hydrophobic plasma membranes either by simple diffusion or through a facilitative transport mechanism mediated by special protein “aquaporin.”
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA.
Western Blot, though not tested, may potentially be used as an application.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml.
Control peptide, A3000-90D, can be used to coat plates at 1ug/ml
Western Blot: 1-10ug/ml using ECL.
In order to suppress non-specific bands the use of 0.5%-1% milk is recommended
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
Stable for 12 months at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
