Angiotensin is an oligopeptide in the blood that causes vasoconstriction, increased blood pressure, and release of aldosterone from the adrenal cortex.
It is a hormone and a powerful dipsogen.
It is derived from the precursor molecule angiotensinogen, a serum globulin produced in the liver.
It plays an important role in the renin-angiotensin system.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:1000-1:10,000 (50-100ng of control peptide/well)Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
Stable for 12 months at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O or PBS.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
