• UGRP-2 is an 8kD member of the secretoglobulin family of molecules.
• It is synthesized as a 104aa precursor that contains a 21aa signal sequence and an 83aa mature region.
• There are no potential N-linked glycosylation sites.
• Based on other members of the family, HIN-1 is likely to exist as a disulfide-linked homodimer.
• The molecule is found in mammary and upper airway epithelium.
• Mature mouse HIN-1 shares 60% aa sequence identity with mature human HIN-1.
• Applications:Suitable for use in direct ELISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1ug/ml using lysates of rat lung tissueOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
