特徴

• Podoplanin, also called PA2.26 antigen, gp38, aggrus or T1a, is a type1 transmembrane sialomucin-type glycoprotein.
• It is specifically expressed by lymphatic endothelial cells but not blood vascular endothelial cells.
• Various carcinoma cells, as well as epithelial cells, keratinocytes and neuronal cells can also express the protein.
• Podoplanin is involved in cell adhesion and motility.
• The sialylated o-glycans on Podoplanin have been found to be required for Podoplanin-induced platelet aggregation.
• As a consequence of alternative splicing, an alternative isoform for human Podoplanin has been reported.
• Within the sequence included in this immunogen, human podoplanin shares 32% aa sequence identity with mouse podoplanin.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 0.1ug/ml using recombinant human Podoplanin Fc ChimeraOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
• Reconstitute with sterile PBS.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
