特徴

• The PAKs are a highly conserved family of serine-threonine protein kinases that bind to and are autophosphorylated and activated by small GTPases.
• Alpha-PAK (PAK-1) and beta-PAK (PAK-3) are mostly expressed in the brain while gamma-PAK (PAK-2) is expressed ubiquitously.
• In mammals, PAKs regulate the MAPK pathways and cytoskeletal organisation by increasing actin and tubulin polymerisation.
• PAKs also phosphorylate steroid receptors such as the estrogen and progesterone receptors.
• In humans the loss of function of PAK-3 is associated with X-linked, nonsyndromic mental retardation.
• Various phosphorylation sites exist on the PAKs, phosphorylation of Thr402 is essential for kinase activity.
• It should be noted that Thr402 in PAK-2 corresponds to Thr423 in PAK-1.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry:1:50-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
