c-Cbl, product of c-cbl proto-oncogene, is a 120kD cytoplasmic protein involved in tyrosine kinase-dependent signaling pathways.
c-Cbl is one of the earliest targets of tyrosine phosphorylation in response to a number of cellular stimuli.
For instance, stimulation of growth factor receptors by EGF, PDGF, NGF and FGF, results in c-Cbl tyrosine phosphorylation, in lymphoid and other cell lines.
It has been demonstrated that tyrosines 700, 731, and 774 are the major tyrosine phosphorylation sites of c-Cbl in T cells in response to pervanadate treatment, as well as in response to TcR/CD3 ligation.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry:1:50-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
